Terms and Privacy
The short version: this is an independent reference site, the numbers on it may be wrong, and you should not rely on this data alone for making large decisions.

What this site is
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any vehicle manufacturer, dealer, importer, testing body, or regulator.
The figures are not guaranteed
Everything here is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Specifications are compiled from public datasets, manufacturer publications, and reader submissions. They are incomplete by design - a blank means nobody has supplied a figure, not that the figure is zero - and they can be out of date, mistyped, matched to the wrong version of a car, or simply wrong.
Manufacturers change specifications without notice, and equipment varies by market, model year, production date, and optional package. A figure shown here may never have applied to the exact car in front of you.
Do not rely on this site for any decision that matters. Buying, leasing, insuring, towing, loading, fuelling, or judging whether a vehicle is safe.Confirm anything you intend to act on with the manufacturer or a dealer, in writing.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of it or reliance on anything published here, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic loss. If any limitation here is held unenforceable, liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
Trademarks
Manufacturer names, model names, and badges are the trademarks of their respective owners. They are used here only to identify the vehicles being described, which is what the words are for. No claim of ownership, affiliation, or endorsement is made or implied.
Where the data comes from
- EPA fuel economy data- economy, emissions, engine and transmission details. A work of the US government.
- NHTSA vPIC, including its Canadian Vehicle Specifications - crash-test ratings, exterior dimensions, weight, track width, and weight distribution. Also a work of the US government. The Canadian measurements are published in whole centimetres and converted here, and describe the Canadian-market car, which is usually but not always identical to the US one.
- Wikipedia - factory generation codes, available underCC BY-SA 4.0.
- Manufacturer websites and press material, for published specifications and equipment.
- Readers, through the suggestion form.
Crediting a source does not mean it endorses this site or has checked what was done with its data. Errors introduced here are ours, not theirs.
If you send us a correction
Submissions are reviewed by a person before anything goes live. By submitting, you confirm you are entitled to share what you send, and you permit it to be published here and kept in the site's history. Please send facts and a link to where you found them - not text copied from somewhere with a licence attached, and nothing confidential.
Suggestions may be edited, held, or rejected for any reason, and there is no obligation to publish or to explain a decision.
Privacy
There are no advertising trackers, no analytics, and no cookies. Nothing about you is collected as you browse and read.
Only two things are stored at all:
- Your unit preference - imperial or metric - is kept in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- What you type into the suggestion form: the values you propose, your source link, and the name you give. If you leave the name blank, your IP address is recorded with the submission instead, to limit abuse of the form. Give a name, or anything else you would rather be identified by, and no IP address is stored.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes requests on its own terms and keeps its own operational logs. That is ordinary hosting, and outside the control of this site.
To have a submission of yours, or an IP address recorded with one, deleted from the database, ask - see Contact.
Changes
This page may change as the site does. The date at the top is when it last did.
Contact
For corrections, use the suggestion form — it reaches the same person and is the fastest route for anything about a figure being wrong.
A direct address for takedown and privacy requests is not yet published. Until it is, send anything of that kind through the suggestion form, which is read by the same person.
